International Pioneers School (IPS) provides a welcoming, caring and enabling environment where all individuals are valued equally and where true respect for one another is nurtured. Officially established in August 1998 as a kindergarten school, IPS has subsequently grown and expanded to become a highly successful international school, operating Kindergarten through Year 13 and is a Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel Qualifications International Examination Centre, as well as an Official SAT Testing Centre. IPS has announced the opening of a second campus (IPS Bangkhae Campus) at Phutthamonthon Sai 2 to provide world class facilities to our growing number of students.

As a matter of benchmarking our school students against the world’s best, students at IPS are encouraged to take the Cambridge IGCSE examinations after completing Year 11. This is followed by Pearson’s Edexcel examinations or the Cambridge AS and A Level examinations in Years 12 and 13.

IPS is formally recognized and licensed by the Ministry of Education and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA). Our curriculum is modeled on the National Curriculum for England and adapted to meet the needs of local and overseas students.

Admission Procedure

Applications for admission will be considered throughout the year for Kindergarten 1 (K1) to Year 13 (Y13). In order to apply for admission, please follow the steps outlined below.

Application

Parents gather information through the school’s website, followed by an in-person school visit to gather information about the school and its curriculum. During the school tour, all parents have a firsthand look at the school, its facilities and the classrooms.

Placement Test

All joining students are tested on their English literacy and numeracy skills with their age and year-level taken into account.

Application Review

The school’s Admissions Committee reviews the assessment results and previous school records and the interview in accordance with the school’s admission criteria.

Decision

The school makes a decision as to whether or not the applicant may register.

Welcome to International Pioneers School

INTERNATIONAL PIONEERS SCHOOL (IPS) was officially established in August 1998, initially as a kindergarten school which subsequently grew and expanded to become a highly successful international school, operating Kindergarten through Year 13.

My mother decided to choose IPS for my brother (yes my brother is also in IPS) and me because of the strong and advanced curriculum compared to my old school. Another reason was because of how near it was to our current residence.
